High Holiday Feedback

Food and Attendance

 1.  The meal was great as always

2.  Harford Chabad offers many wonderful activities.  I would emphasize trying to attend one function at least once a week.

Highlights

Thanks Rabbi,

I really enjoyed the services. It was a very hectic day for me (travel, family, etc.) and I appreciated the opportunity to have both the time and environment for some serious reflection on the past year and future self-improvements yet to be done.

Highlights:

1.      Welcoming, friendly people

2.      Very well paced service

3.      Nice blend of Hebrew (I’m pretty rusty…) and English

4.      Rock’n Shofar work!

5.      No pitch for money or Israel/AIPAC politics (grew up Conservative….). I send a check anyway…services and a Rabbi don’t just happen by magic.

David, Melech Yisrael.

I liked when the prayer was sung to the tune of David, Melech Yisrael.

English

I appreciate that some of the prayers were said in English

Enjoyed

We enjoyed services very much. Especially the short stories interjected throughout.

Stories

I enjoyed the stories you weave into the service - one may listen if they want or just read the passages.

The card that was upon each chair was very thoughtful as well.

The Kiddush

The Kidush after the service on the first day of Rosh Hashana was ample and delicious.

Sermon

I enjoyed the sermon "Living in the Atomic Age" and the stories you used to highlight the message of the day while the cantor davened.
