Want and Addiction, The relation of wants to the life of a person In parshas chayei sarah on the words of the verse "Im yesh es nafshichem" rashi translates nafshchem as ratzonchem (your will). A person strives , lives and identifies with his will and should have a healthy attitude toward wanting. Guided by friends, family and religion(G-D) a person can live a healthy life. shiur on succos and eruv I wanted to hear the end of the story if Rav Chiam gave the Rebbes father smicha but it went on and on and I never heard the end of the story. It seems to me that Halachicly a succa is a reshus hayichid and certainly on can refuse to let his neighbor in his succa thus it would not constiture an eruv Reply

My Sukkah Is Your Sukkah Rabbi Yisrael(Baal Shem Tov)= Master of the Good Name, great human being in my book if i had one. Could you just think back when the tribes of Israel had their tents perfectly aligned in the righteous positions. i believe this helped them respect each other as a whole nation not a separate nation. Even think back when the Holy Temple stood and the court yard was full of greetings and a place for higher thinkers. Let us pray for all of our well being in life and let us be filled full of G-d when one Jew prays for another Jew. For He has always been with us even holding our hands when times are tough and making us honest when times are good. He does love His creation very much and will join all of us as One when He see's fit in time and space, Blessed be His Name A-men. Reply
