This was the topic that was discussed at Harford Chabad on the eve of Rosh Hashanah. Almost 100 people filled the room and the feeling of community and camaraderie was palpable. “Without guilt, I am finally able to reengage with the Jewish community; I have rediscovered the joy of Jewish life, my pride in Israel and the power of my faith”, said an attendee.
As I write this letter to ask for your year-end support, the news from Israel is bleak. The brutal murder of 4 men wrapped in their Tallis and Tefillin is a shock to the system and is all too reminiscent of a short while ago when our parents and grandparents were chased and killed with terror and brutality.
And yet, I have hope. I am inspired and I find myself moved. With your partnership, we at Harford Chabad have seen an unprecedented year of Jewish learning, of Jewish community and Jewish pride.

- 23 adults from all backgrounds learning Torah at our latest “How Happiness Thinks” course.
