Anyone, Anytime, Anywhere : Globalization & the End of Work: Lesson 7
The immediate availability of products for a "market of one" is viewed as an illustration of the universality and eternality of Torah information which is applicable to every person at every time and in every place.

We are now in 2021 - and the idea of anything on the demand that seemed so appealing to all of us 20 years ago is now incredibly overwhelming. Life now requires enormous discipline just to stay present, i.e not distracted by endless scrolling and options. Seems the spiritual side which is more important than the material/tech side of realizing the Messianic age is severely lacking. We are living in a time focused on manifesting all you want but the majority want to manifest more stuff. Everyone wants to be a millionaire with all the toys. If everyone has a boat where on earth will we park them all. So even with a mindset of abundance, this seems unrealistic ( unless of course we populate other planets and fill them all with stuff too). So the scenario I see unfolding is - everything on-demand until we are sick from all the materialism, the type of sick you feel when you had too much sugar - and then perhaps the masses will look for a fulfilling source of pleasure - HaShem.
