Services and classes in a warm, family environment. Be a part of it!
Welcome to our Shul

The services at Harford Chabad are traditional and are conducted in a joyous, casual atmosphere. Children are included and most welcome. Many of those who attend cannot read Hebrew, yet everyone feels at home. The prayer book is bi-lingual and various English readings are included in the service. Song and commentary add meaning and participation to the prayers.

While services have a start time, yours start the moment you walk in. Services at your pace, your time, your level. Come anytime and stay as long as you can, open your prayer book and find whatever speaks to you. It’s personal participation the way you like it.

Please allow yourself the opportunity to visit and participate in our vibrant and growing congregation. By becoming an active participant at Harford Chabad you will acquire lifelong friendships, an opportunity for spiritual growth, and most importantly a chance to be a part of your Jewish community -

Kabbalat Shabbat
In the winter at 6:00 pm and in the summer at 7:00 - the arrival of Shabbat is celebrated with prayer. The prayers help release the tension of the past week and receive (in Hebrew, "Kabbalat") the serenity of Shabbat. This is a unique time to join the community as we connect with Hashem and welcome Shabbat.
